About the Host
Tanya Boyd is a dynamic project manager and creative strategist with 20+ years of experience across disaster recovery, healthcare, IT, marketing, and government.
As Director of Creative Collaboration at Corbeau and Project Success Academy, she blends imagination, strategy, and storytelling to design bold programs and partnerships that drive measurable results. She also leads a team of PMI certification instructors through PMI’s Authorized Training Program.
A PMP® since 2014 and PMI-ACP® since 2020, Tanya is a former President of the PMI Baton Rouge Chapter, where she gained deep insight into the evolving challenges facing today’s project leaders.
She is also:
• Co-author of Projectland Goes to the Movies
• Contributor to the PURE Management Alliance 60-PDU video series
• A national speaker delivering high-energy sessions to 30+ PMI chapters
Tanya believes that curiosity and communication unlock creative solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking Louisiana’s swamps—camera in hand—chasing the next wild idea.
Workshop Overview
As project managers, we are tasked with helping teams see the big picture, overcome bottlenecks, resolve conflict, and deliver successful outcomes—often in environments where change is constant and people are anything but predictable.
In this interactive session, we will explore the five stages of Tuckman’s Model and how they directly impact team dynamics and development. You’ll learn how to identify where your team stands, address challenges, and guide them toward high performance.
