Please find attached a TED@PMI Ambassador Toolkit.  Why?  Because we need to get the word out about the opportunity for any PMI member to do a TED talk at the NA LIM. 

I want every PMI member to understand that they may apply to be a TED speaker, and share their idea worth spreading. Here’s the thing: a good amount of people have already applied.  However, some of these applications are more appropriate for, say, PMI’s Global Conference than for the TED stage.  A TED talk is different; the speech doesn’t have to be about Project Management at all, or it could be about project management, or project economy, or leadership – any of the things PMI is known for. 

I’m sending this toolkit to you so you can nominate PMI members that you know (and if they’re not a PMI member, if they purchase membership today, they can apply tomorrow!).   The deadline to nominate is 21 Feb – I apologize for the lack of lead time, but we have to move quickly on this one.

PMI South Alabama Board elections for 2021 Announcement

Alabama Chapter Members,                                                     

We will be holding our annual meeting - an elections of officers for 2021 - at the regular October 8th chapter meeting. Included is the slate of candidates, with the candidates to be voted on highlighted in yellow (see link below). Nominations from Chapter Members will be accepted until the end of the September 10, 2020 monthly meeting.

NOTE:  As we are now conducting our events virtually and will continue to do so in the future, you do not have to be in the direct commuting area to be an Officer or to Volunteer.

Our goal is to have volunteers to assist each board position. If you are interested in volunteering with the chapter, please contact one of the current board members. Volunteers earn PDUs for time spent on volunteer activities, so if you are working on your certification, hours spent on a project with the board (like the annual seminar) can be counted towards qualifying for certification. In order to become a board member, you must be a chapter member.

If you have a desire to serve on the board or would like to nominate an individual. Please send, persons, name, position desired, via the online volunteering form (found on the PMI South Alabama Website) along with a resume as an attachment:
